Here's everything you need to know about Samsung's "never mind" offer.

Samsung has a new “never mind” offer for its Galaxy smartphones in celebrations of Durga Pujo. Under this offer, Samsung Galaxy smartphone owners can get a one-time screen replacement at Rs 990 at the authorized stores. The offer is applicable for smartphones and tablets bought between September 1 and September 30, and lasts for a period of 12 months since the time of purchase.

However, this screen replacement offer isn’t available all over India. Only select markets covering the north eastern part of India are eligible for this offer. These include West Bengal, Sikkim, Assam, Meghalaya, Tripura, Manipur, Mizoram, Arunachal Pradesh, Nagaland and Odisha. In addition to purchasing Samsung smartphones within the given time, there’s also a list of specified devices. From the Galaxy S series, the Galaxy S8+Galaxy S8Galaxy S7 edgeGalaxy S7Galaxy S6 edge+Galaxy S6 edge, and Galaxy S6 are valid for the offer.

Among the Galaxy Note series, the Galaxy Note 5, and the Galaxy Note 5 Dual Sim are included in the offer. The Galaxy A series smartphones including the Galaxy A7 (2017)Galaxy A5 (2017)Galaxy A9 ProGalaxy A7 (2016), and the Galaxy A5 (2016) are eligible. The Galaxy C9 Pro and the Galaxy C7 Pro are also a part of Samsung’s screen replacement offer.

From its mid-range and budget segment, the eligible smartphones include Galaxy J7 ProGalaxy J7 MaxGalaxy J7 PrimeGalaxy J5 PrimeGalaxy J7 NxtGalaxy J7 2016Galaxy J2 (2016)Galaxy J2Pro and Galaxy J7 (2015). Lastly Samsung’s tablets which also fall under this offer include the Galaxy Tab S3Galaxy Tab AGalaxy Tab EGalaxy J Max and Galaxy Tab S2. The Galaxy Note 8, which went on sale in India today, is however not included in the list of devices for this offer. 

 

There are some conditions for the screen replacement offer. Samsung will cover costs for broken screens only, and not for scratches or damages caused due to liquid or fluid spillage. Also, the eligible Samsung Galaxy smartphones and tablets should be bought from the company’s authorized outlets only. Devices bought through online portal or unofficial channels will not be accepted.
