Monsoon rains in Hyderabad to continue for next 2-3 days

Monsoon rains have been lashing Hyderabad since morning hours followed by thundershowers. According to the MET department, these showers are to continue for a few more hours.

Moderate rains are predicted throughout the day across Telangana. The fresh spell of rains are due to the north-south trough running from Odisha to South Tamil Nadu across Telangana and Rayalaseema.

With Hyderabad witnessing dry weather conditions for the last few days, the ongoing spell comes as a pleasant change.

The monsoon rains are likely to continue for the next 2-3 days, as per the weather forecast. In a span of 24 hours, Nalgonda received 35 mm rainfall, Ramagundam 14.3 mm, Khammam 12 mm, and Nizamabad 4 mm.
