It’s Apple’s big day and all tech enthusiasts will be glued to the big-ticket announcements from the company’s headquarters in Cupertino in the night. On the 10th anniversary of the iPhone, Apple is expected to release a special edition, dubbed the iPhone X. Apple is also expected to unveil a new smartwatch along with the iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus.

The tech giant is also expected to unveil more details of its Siri-powered HomePod smart speaker. There’s also a lot of buzz around Apple’s new A11 SoC and iOS 11 operating system, which will come with native support for Augmented Reality via ARKit platform.

The long-anticipated Apple event will start at 10am PT, which is 10:30pm IST. The company will also be live-streaming the event as it has been doing for last several years. If you are planning to watch the live stream, here are a few things you need to know.

Apple’s live stream for today’s event will be available at this link. The company uses HTTP Live Streaming (HLS) technology to live broadcast its events. Apple users can watch the live stream on their iPhone, iPad or iPad touch on Safari browser. Do remember your device needs to be running on iOS 9.0 or later version.

Mac users can watch the stream on MacOS v10.11 or later. Apple TV (2nd and 3rd generation) users will need to have software version 6.2 or later. Apple TV 4th generation is also compatible with Apple’s live streaming technology. Windows 10 users can watch the live stream with Microsoft Edge browser.

Just to recap, the star of today’s Apple event will be the iPhone X. The smartphone is expected to come with a 5.8-inch edge-to-edge OLED display, in-screen fingerprint scanner and 3D facial recognition for biometric authentication. The new iPhones are also expected to come with wireless charging support.
